Strength in numbers

We are the sum of our collective interests, vision and expertise. That’s why we feel it’s important to tell individual stories of our team, as our people are shaping the organisation we are today and sustaining the Earth to last our future.

We are pleased to share three new stories as our team has grown further, with a trio of new recruits. Energised to support our clients and the wider energy industry in achieving its Net Zero goals and changing energy for good.

Christian Albrecht

Christian joins us in his new role with us as Senior Commercial Manager. Christian has a deep fascination with experiencing our planet, seeking a closeness to nature and trying to live deliberately. Christian’s love for nature has taken him on high and lows, from diving the depths of the remote Galapagos islands to hiking through the Amazon and the peaks of the Borneo mountains. His keenness to explore leads his path through life and his career – and we loved that! Inquisition is a great personality trait to have when tackling climate change. His passion for sustainability and renewable energy was born from his love of the natural world, which lead him to Naked Energy.

Christian’s background is in business development and energy efficiency. In his previous role, Christian worked at EP&T Global, reducing carbon emissions in the built environment by integrating Big Data analytics and Artificial Intelligence with human expertise into an energy monitoring system. Christian’s problem-solving mind and passion to reduce clients’ carbon emissions in parallel to saving them money is unquestionable. We can already see how Christian is shining a light on many corporations’ sustainability ambitions, demonstrating how Virtu can replace their use of fossil fuels in providing heat.

Lowri Collins

We have discovered another rising star in Lowri, who brings fantastic experience and bunches of enthusiasm to our team as Sales and Marketing Analyst.

Lowri’s passion for sustainability bloomed when she started her own venture “Sustainable Flower Co”, a dried flower bouquet company. Ask Lowri about sustainability and the cut flower market and she’ll educate you on the powers of a British bloom.

After graduating from Oxford, gaining her Master’s in Environmental Governance, Lowri started her professional career at Third Bridge, managing research projects for management consultant and credit clients globally. Lowri gained great understanding and interest in renewable energy after undertaking analysis of renewable energy policies and solar asset optimisation strategy in her role.

Her entrepreneurial spirit, passion for combatting climate change and interest in renewable energy led her to Naked Energy. And after all, both flowers and solar thermal collectors thrive off a sunny day!

Maged Soliman

We also welcome Maged as Technical Sales Engineer. Maged, born to Egyptian parents and raised in the U.A.E, brings great experiences and understanding to our team after working fossil side for 5 years. His first-hand experience of how detrimental the oil and gas industry are to the interests of our climate has fuelled his passion towards renewable energy and sustainability – and ours too! This experience became a pivotal point in Maged’s career and personal life as he eagerly pursued a shift across to renewable energy in search of sustainable solutions for our Planet. Maged moved to the UK in 2019 to complete his Master’s in Renewable Energy Engineering. We are so happy Maged feels at home with us at Naked Energy.

Maged has a fascination with analogue photography and says our technology Virtu has a similar appeal. The simplicity and beauty of how they work is inspirational to Maged, who spends his spare time painting with light through his analogue camera. The process of capturing an image and bringing it to life through exposure to natural light is a wondrous thing; preserving an art form as well as preserving our Planet is top on his agenda.
