British solar innovator Naked Energy partners with Estonia-based distributor

  • British solar tech innovator partners with Estonian heating, cooling and ventilation companies OJ Ventilation and Soojuskeskus

  • The deal further strengthens renewable heat company’s position across northern Europe

  • Partnership will accelerate the decarbonisation of heat across the Baltic states, Scandinavia and Andalucia and Alicante, Spain

6th March 2023, London: British solar design and engineering business Naked Energy today announces their distribution deal with Estonian heating, cooling and ventilation companies OJ Ventilation and Soojuskeskus as official local partners.

Soojuskeskus is a Baltic premium energy solutions project developer that designs efficient systems for residential, public, commercial and industrial buildings.

Continuing Naked Energy’s international expansion, the partnership with OJ Ventilation and Soojuskeskus will see the company’s cutting-edge solar thermal technology distributed to clients who are future-proofing their energy needs across Scandinavia and the Baltic states.

The deal is the latest in a series of global partnerships secured by Naked Energy and further establishes the company’s position in Europe’s renewable energy sector. The move opens the door for Nordic countries to access Naked Energy’s innovative renewable heat products.

Naked Energy’s Virtu product range is already enabling businesses across the world to achieve ambitious net zero targets by delivering up to 3.5 times the carbon savings per m2than conventional solar PV panels.

Naked Energy’s VirtuPVT collector combines solar photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal technology to generate both electricity and heat from a single collector. Their unique modular design makes them the world’s highest energy density solar technology.

The VirtuHOT collector, which generates solar heat, recently received the gold standard TÜV international certification. Both technologies are proving instrumental to the decarbonisation of heat and will provide OJ Ventilation and Soojuskeskus’ clients with clean and efficient energy.

Christophe Williams, CEO and co-founder of Naked Energy, says: “We’re proud to be partnering with Soojuskeskus with the help of OJ Ventilation. They provide excellent services to customers across the Baltics and Scandinavia, and are known for the quality of their work. We’re excited to be working with such a forward-thinking company who share our vision to decarbonise heat.

“Together, our technology will make heating systems in Europe more efficient, and aid the global transition to clean energy.”

Ott Kullerkupp, CEO of OJ Ventilation comments: “Naked Energy’s solar thermal technology is the perfect fit for our heating, ventilating and air conditioning service portfolio.

“There’s huge potential for solar thermal to become a standard part of the energy mix with any new building projects, and Virtu seamlessly integrates with other technology in our heating systems.

“We’re delighted to start offering Naked Enery’s technology to these markets, and accelerating progress towards a more sustainable future.”

Kert Kivistik, CEO of Soojuskeskus adds: “We are very proud to be able to supplement our product portfolio with unique technology like VirtuHOT and VirtuPVT.

“We look forward to working with Naked Energy and hope that through this partnership we can further contribute to the production of clean energy across Europe.

“With Europe continuing to feel the great impact of the energy crisis, Naked Energy’s Virtu collectors are a welcome addition to our offering.”
