Virtu available for subsidies in the German market

VirtuHOT and VirtuHOT HD are now included on the BAFA list of approved solar collectors, which means they fully satisfy the conditions for receiving subsidies in the German market.

The German Solar Association (BSW) has noted an increased demand for solar heating systems in Germany over the last year. This is down to the increase in financial incentives for sustainable heating, rising cost of fossil-fuels and the CO₂ price hike that came into effect beginning of 2021.

Virtu technology is an attractive solution for our German customers to decarbonise heat in their buildings, thanks to the amended Market Incentive Program of BAFA, rewarding investors a subsidy of up to 45% depending on the auxiliary source it is combined with.

All information, including the application procedure and funding rates, can be found on the BAFA website. You can contact one of our commercial team for more information on Virtu or for guidance on your application.

In the coming months we are hoping to secure local partnerships with distributors and installers in Germany. Expanding our reach is essential to support the decarbonisation of heat and reduction of greenhouse gases across Europe.
