Naked Energy’s VirtuHOT Solar Thermal Product Achieves TÜV International Certification

Game-changing product poised for global release

Naked Energy’s high-density solar heat solution, VirtuHOT, has now officially received the certifications ‘Solar KEYMARK’ and ‘DIN‑Geprüft’, following rigorous engineering testing at TÜV Rheinland Group. It has also successfully completed the tests required for the ICC-SRCC standard in North America.

This provides VirtuHOT with the internationally recognised Solar Keymark label, demonstrating the high quality of the product, having been tested to the most rigorous standards. Solar Keymark certification provides assurance of the high level of thermal outputs for decarbonising heat, whilst guaranteeing reliability and durability. It also means that VirtuHOT qualifies for subsidies, where available, such as the attractive Renewable Heat Incentive (‘RHI’) (UK), Conte Termico (Italy), SDE (Netherlands), BAFA (Germany), and the Fonds Chaleur (France), to name a few. Customers in the UK should contact Naked Energy soon to be eligible to have a system installed under the generous RHI scheme, available until March 2021.

The certification confirms the technology readiness level and enables the company to accelerate global distribution.

VirtuHOT is a flexible solar hot water solution which offers high energy density over a broad temperature range, with a unique, modular and versatile design. It is an ideal solution for achieving net-zero sustainability targets by decarbonising heating and hot water usage. By installing VirtuHOT, users can significantly reduce their energy costs and improve their building codes.
